Osteria di Passignano
Seminars on wine, with guided tours of the historic cellars of the Abbey, followed by lunch or dinner with wine tasting - max. 8 people. Themes are: The Classic Antinori Wines; The Cult of the Super Tuscans. A special treat reserved for ELS guests will be a taste test between Italian and American Sangiovese wines.

VISIT THE WINE CELLAR

Every day excluding Thursday and Sunday
Wine seminars are held in the morning at 11:15 and in the afternoon at 6:15, for a minimum of two persons and a maximum of eight.

The Antinori Classics:

Visit the vineyard and the historic wine cellars of Badia a Passignano and sample the wines.

Then conclude your visit with lunch or dinner at the Osteria di Passignano, where you will find an elaborate menu to accompany the excellent wines.

Included is also a tasting of our extra virgin olive oils.

You will sample the following wines: Cervaro della Sala, Brunello di Montalcino, Tignanello, and Muffato della Sala.

During the lunch/dinner there will be a short introduction about the pouring of wine, the correct use of a wine glass and how to pair wine with a meal.

You will be able to read along and follow a small brochure in English while you sample.

Devotion to the Super Tuscans:

Visit the vineyard and the historic wine cellars of Badia a Passignano and sample the wines. Then conclude your visit with lunch or dinner at the Osteria di Passignano, where you will find an elaborate menu to accompany the excellent wines.

Included is also a tasting of our extra virgin olive oils.

You will sample the following wines: Cervaro della Sala, Guado al Tasso, Tignanello and Solaia.

In the afternoon:

At 3:30 pm, visit the historic cellars of Badia a Passignano and taste four Antinori wines.

The duration of the tour is two hours.

WINE TASTING

From 10:30 am to noon and from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm

Tasting Option 1:

Chianti Classico riserva Marchese Antinori, Chianti Classico riserva Badia a Passignano, Tignanello.

Tasting Option 2:

Chianti Classico riserva Badia a Passignano, Brunello Pian dell Vigne, Tignanello.

Tasting Option 3:

Guado al Tasso, Tignanello, Solaia.

An ample selection of wine by the glass will give you the opportunity to taste the best of the Antinori collection.
