frescobaldi's
wine estate

a visit to the castle of Nipozzano
Tour the Castle, the cellars and the main Villa, followed by a VIP Lunch.

The visit begins with a formal greeting of our guests in the front courtyard of the 17 th century Villa.

There will be a brief introduction about the history of the Frescobaldi family, about the estate of the Castle of Nipozzano, and about the history of winemaking by the Marquises dè Frescobaldi. The guided tour of the cellars will include a detailed explanation about wine production techniques.

A brief walk, about 500 meters, will take us past the modern winery, immersed in the suggestive landscape of the Tuscan hills, and lead us to the Castle, an excellent example of medieval architecture from about the year 1000.

It will be our pleasure to show you the historic collection of the Frescobaldi family housed inside the Castle. As we return to visit the Villa by way of the picturesque "Boulevard of the Cypresses" you will be awed by the beautiful panorama that unfolds before you in a dazzling patchwork of vineyards and olive groves.

Once our tour has been completed we will be pleased to offer you the following VIP Lunch:

•  Aperitif on the patio of the Villa, with a wide selection of hors d'oeuvres
•  Antipasto - various types
•  Two first dishes: usually one traditional Tuscan soup and one homemade pasta specialty
•  Main course - for example: Tuscan style roast beef, or braised beef Nipozzano , or farm style wild boar - all entrées are accompanied by a selection of vegetable side dishes
•  Large platter of cheeses, from Tuscany and other regions of Italy, with mustard relishes and the exclusiveNipozzano wine gelatine
•  Homemade dessert
•  Vin Santo with Almond Cookies
•  Coffee, grappa and small pastries

The luncheon will also include an excellent selection of our finest wines.

Naturally, during the luncheon our public relations staff will be visiting your tables to present the wines being served.

Please note that the visits can be conducted in Italian, English, German, French and Spanish.

The day continues with a trip to the Outlet Shopping Center "The Mall" in Leccio.
